Thoughts of Elberta Headed to New York

I just received some exciting news! My pastel painting, Thoughts of Elberta, has been juried into an all pastel show hosted by the Pastel Society of America. It is the 42nd PSA Annual Exhibition: Enduring Brilliance! to be hung in The Grand Gallery of the National Arts Club in New York City from September 2 – September 27, 2014. There were 1222 entries this year, and fewer than 180 pieces were selected for the show. The PSA was founded in 1972 by Flora B. Giffuni and is the oldest pastel society in America. It is a huge honor to be showing with such accomplished pastelists at this historic site.
